PICS provides a variety of comprehensive programs and services to assist new and recent immigrants with their transition within Canada. We are committed to the ongoing growth and change of our clients, and we are able to provide them services in a compassionate, respectful, supportive, and culturally sensitive manner.
We are able to provide our clients with services such as employment programs and counseling, immigration and settlement information, language training, drug/alcohol counseling and seniors housing.
Our offices in Surrey and Vancouver serve new and recent immigrants, families, seniors, and youth. The Province of British Columbia and the Government of Canada has provided the funding for our Employment, Settlement and Language Services. BC Housing and the Fraser Health Authority assist with the funding of our housing complex.

Language Services
PICS has offered various language services over the years, including Punjabi and French classes. Currently, we are offering ELSA classes for adult newcomers. To qualify for these free services, you must be eligible. There are various levels of ELSA classes that you can be placed in and classes are offered on a full time or part time basis. Employment Programs
PICS offers various Employment Programs both in Surrey and in Vancouver. From guided group job search assistance and individual job search assistance to specialized programs and training, PICS offers a wide range of services to ensure each client gets the most out of their experience.
Settlement
Immigrant-serving agencies provide settlement services to help newcomers to Canada adjust to their new life. We provide culturally-sensitive programs in many languages, including: English, Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Farsi, Pashto, Dari and Bengali. Our free, confidential services try to help newcomers with all their needs during the process of settling into their new community. We provide many different services to newcomers.
Housing
There was a growing need for a seniors housing and care facility within the multicultural community. PICS was chosen by the BC Housing Commission and the South Fraser Health Region to develop these types of facilities adjacent to each other....
