CEO's Report
Thank you for expressing an interest in PICS and taking the time to look at our website. Hopefully you will find up to date information on our Society and be inspired by the work we do.
At the heart of our work is the desire to make the lives of new and recent immigrants enjoyable and fulfilling by providing them with positive experiences in Canada. We do this by offering various programs and services that are at no cost to participants, and also through our low cost training opportunities. PICS also serves the community by providing advocacy and other support services. I am very proud of where our organization is today.
Over the last twenty years we have evolved from very humble beginnings to a large multifaceted organization that is committed to assisting those who need us. We now have various offices in Surrey and one office in Vancouver. Our staff and dedicated volunteers, steered by our Board of Directors, drive us to success. In order to increase the range of programs, services and training opportunities available to our clients, we are continuously applying for new project funding. We also rely on personal and business donations to keep our operations running.
There is more to life in Canada then what meets the eye. Through our programs and services our clients and their families are able to enrich their lives and experiences in Canada.
